Gil has a solid record of building businesses; he has successfully started two companies since 1999: Emergint Technologies, Inc. and BioTrac, LLC. Each business has a different revenue model, offerings and client base. Gil sold BioTrac in 2002. As a strategist, Gil developed and implemented successful growth and competitive strategies for small and Fortune 100 corporations. As a Business Developer, he has a proven sales record with a distinguished client and channel partner base. As a Program Manager, he organized and led diverse technical teams and delivered sophisticated IT solutions, and as a Line of Business leader, he has negotiated profitable contracts with a broad array of clients.
Prior to starting Emergint and BioTrac, Gil worked at TRW, Inc. as a National Relationships Manager for the Commercial Healthcare Solutions (CHS) line of business under the Systems Integration Group (SIG). Gil joined TRW's Commercial Healthcare practice to establish a presence in the provider marketplace. As this was an untapped market for TRW, he designed and executed CHS' service offerings and strategies. Gil negotiated and established TRW's nation-wide integration services agreement with VHA, a 1600 hospital-membership Group Purchasing Organization. He also established strategic alliances and channel partnerships with Per-Se Technologies - a top-ten HIS provider, BDM International - a top-ten Pharmacy HIS provider, and HBSI - a clinical decision support and data mining tools provider. Additionally, he established TRW's first partnerships and customers for the ASP-ASAP Program. Gil was also responsible for CHS' strategy, planning and execution for marketing, advertising and HIMSS conferences.
