Jeff Tafel joined Emergint Technologies, Inc. in August of 2000. Jeff has over thirty years experience in finance and accounting, and he has managed startup, growth, and acquisition activities in healthcare information and banking industries.
Before joining Emergint, Jeff was the CFO of Ventech Systems and was responsible for finance, accounting, and administration. He was involved in the strategic development of an electronic medical records (EMR) solution and the successful implementation of that EMR solution in over sixty hospitals on schedule and within budget. Jeff was also responsible for physician relations, implementation and customer support.
Prior to Ventech Systems, Jeff was Director of Audit and Director of Information Systems for Vencor, Inc. He was responsible for the successful identification, acquisition and implementation of a solution to automate the clinical care process in the company's long-term care hospitals.
