Mr. Asadi brings over 16 years in professional management experience and 24 years of experience in information technology, focused on the health sector and the use of technology to support project and program management objectives. He possesses over 15 years of U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) institutional knowledge that have been applied to successful delivery of multiple CDC IT efforts and to ongoing management of delivery and performance teams supporting CDC. He joined Emergint Technologies, Inc. in 2000 to support and oversee Emergint's CDC customers and provided project management, architecture, and software development support to multiple Centers. His support included Geographic Information System (GIS) platform architecture, Microsoft .NET web, and mobile solutions architecture and development delivered within CDC standard methodology and governance framework. In 2007, Mr. Asadi was promoted to Emergint's Regional Director. He supervised the Southeast Region's business operations, Programs' performance, and growth within CDC and DOD and achieved significant growth for the Region by emphasizing leadership and the quality of our employees and deliverables. In 2012, Mr. Asadi was promoted to Vice President of Operations for the Southeast Region.
Prior to working at Emergint, Mr. Asadi worked for Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), a leader in the engineering, construction, and transportation fields. Initially hired as a Rail Systems Simulation Engineer, Mr. Asadi led simulation efforts to support logistics studies for the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. Mr. Asadi was promoted to Development Manager of the Project Controls Division and focused primarily on developing project management software to help PB projects follow company and industry standards and best practices. He developed and delivered systems that were used on national and international PB projects in several countries. Mr. Asadi holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
