Data Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA
Emergint is seeking a detail-oriented person with skills in analyzing published information and unpublished scientific data relevant to tobacco product-related activities in OSH. Position also provides support to current data manager by providing data quality control and application quality assurance to support various database activities. Position provides periodic assistance to data manager with entry of cigarette and smokeless tobacco Ingredients data and smokeless tobacco nicotine data into existing and future databases. The Data Analyst is responsible for providing clear, accurate written and verbal reports of their activities and findings. Previous experience related to tobacco is not required.
Required Skills:- A qualified candidate will have knowledge and training in statistics and the scientific disciplines of toxicology, chemistry, pharmacology, and physiology.
- Sufficient knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office, and Excel are also essential.
- Must have experience using SAS for statistical analysis.
- Strong written and oral skills are required. Ability to work under limited supervision/guidance as well as in a team environment
- BS/BA required, MS/MA desired, [Major: Chemistry, toxicology, pharmacology, physiology]
- 15+ Years of experience in lieu of degree
