Data Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA
Emergint is seeking a Data Analyst to support various projects. Primary job responsibilities include: Review requirements Identify data issues Design database and manage data integrity through out the application and between the applications in CDC enterprise. Address any issues that impact the business Provide business process model for communication between the software development team and clients Provide information to the project team for developing and testing the application Participate in requirements and analysis activities Create as-is and to-be diagrams Work closely with the DBAs and Developers to ensure that access to data from other systems is kept current; troubleshoot problems; recommend resolutions; suggest enhancements that may be needed to better meet user requirements.
Required Skills:- Must be experienced in leading the reporting requirements management and analysis activities along all phases of a unified process software development life cycle -Must be skilled in a Use Case Driven approach and interviewing techniques. Knowledge of reporting and analysis knowledge; financial accounting and budget experience is required.
- Experienced end-to-end on 3+ projects as a Senior Business Analyst and/or data analyst with previous development experience -Strong data analyst skills with process modeling, data modeling,etc.
- Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, high initiative, sense of urgency, teamwork, and customer service, excellent oral/written communications and the ability to multi task.
- Healthcare experience a plus
- Experience working in a government environment is a plus
- BS/BA required, MS/MA desired
- 10 years of experience in lieu of degree
