QA Tester
Location: Atlanta, GA
An experienced tester to support software development projects. Tasks include: Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases and scripts Write and execute manual and automated test cases Experience with software defect creation and tracking Document and retest defects Understanding of HTML ¡V web browser experience is a plus us Experience with or in depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Participate in project meetings and systems design efforts At least 2 years in software testing technical area is required Maintain a library of created test cases, updating cases as needed Work with developers, project managers and others to maintain high levels of quality A successful applicant will have demonstrated knowledge of advanced testing concepts, and an ability to handle multiple projects at the same time. Flexibility and the ability to work well as a team member are essential Required Skills Experience with the Rational and ClearQuest Experience w/Client/Server testing Experience developing comprehensive test plans Strong development background with proprietary and/or COTS applications Ability to work on multiple projects Attention to details Great communication and documentation skills Experience evaluating systems, products and preparing documentation and recommendation of multiple systems Desired Skills Familiar with MS Visual Test Studio Knowledge and experience conducting performances testing Experience with various performance testing tools and techniques in addition to functional testing is strongly desired Experience working in a government environment is a plus.
Educational Requirements:- BS/BA required, MS/MA desired, [Major: Information Technology; Computer Science]
