Emergint Technologies selected to support 2010 Decennial Census

(BETHESDA, MD) - The U.S. Census Bureau awarded Emergint a contract to provide expertise in the planning, development and implementation of technical, administrative and management support services to assist with data collection activities for the 2010 Decennial Census and 2008 Dress Rehearsal.

Specifically, the contract allows access to the Emergint team to provide infrastructure planning and support, intranet and management training and recruiting support, decennial procedures and training development, budget and financial management support, and quantitative and management analysis.

The Emergint team will assist the Census Bureau's Field Division (FLD), which is responsible for the massive data collection portion of the Decennial Census of Population and Housing. To accomplish its objectives, FLD creates a network of over 500 temporary field offices that are equipped with sophisticated automation systems.
