Emergint joins Booz Allen Hamilton team to provide IT Services to US Army Forces Command
(LOUISVILLE, KY) - Emergint joins a Booz Allen Hamilton led team to deliver comprehensive, integrated, end-to-end information technology services to FORSCOM for command and control, in the following managed services: Network Operations, System Administration, System Integration and Testing, Information and Network Security, Training, Fielding, Quality Control, Help Desk and Special Projects. The intent of this contract is to offer a comprehensive range of services that will support an integrated network management in which FORSCOM will capitalize on the multifunctional capabilities of today's technologists.
FORSCOM's mission is to train, mobilize, deploy and sustain combat-ready forces capable of responding rapidly to crises worldwide. FORSCOM is a Major Army Command and a component of U.S. Joint Forces Command. The HQ, FORSCOM G6 is responsible for ensuring the delivery of information technology services to HQ FORSCOM Directorates and Special Staff. The FORSCOM Command and Control System (FCCS) provides classified and non-classified network operation support and extends classified access to Army Reserves, National Guard, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), three Army Corps, two Continental U.S. Army HQs, Power Projection Platforms (PPPs) and Power Support Platforms (PSPs), garrison, and tenant organizations.
Emergint and the Booz Allen Hamilton Team shall provide classified and non-classified support services that includes the following services: systems integration and testing, configuration management (hardware and software); infrastructure management; network administration; Help Desk, end user support; end user training; hardware/software support; information and network security services; commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), and government off the shelf (GOTS) systems support. Emergint will support the effort with Enterprise Operations and Maintenance Services.
