SAMHSA selects Emergint for Data Strategy Contract

(BETHESDA, MD) - The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) awarded Emergint an Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) type contract which allows Emergint to compete with other small businesses for Task Orders in Domain VIII - SAMHSA Data Strategy Projects. The contract includes a base year and four option years.

The mission and vision of SAMHSA is to ensure that people with or who are at risk for a mental or addictive disorder have the opportunity for a fulfilling life that includes a job, a home, and meaningful relationships with family and friends. A major aspect of SAMHSA fulfilling its mission and vision is the acquisition of professional skills, services, products and platforms represented in the SAMHSA Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This robust initiative encompasses the majority of SAMHSA's requirements through the acquisition of solutions and services that span multiple domains of specific service requirements to SAMHSA organizational components.

Emergint's core expertise in data integration for Outcomes Measurement is a match for the technical challenges expected to come out of SAMHSA Data Strategy requirements. Data Integration is exactly the type of service Emergint excels at with other agencies, such as CDC, EPA, and other public health and commercial healthcare organizations.

The Emergint team, which includes Northrop Grumman and Federal Working Group (FWG) brings significant, proven experience doing business with SAMHSA, with Outcomes Measurement, Data Integration and HIPAA as well as Program Management.
