U.S. Census Bureau Awards "Research & Development 2014" Contract to Emergint
(ROCKVILLE, MD) - On September 28, 2009, Emergint was awarded Research and Development 2014 - a U.S. Census five year IDIQ contract vehicle, Domain #4 (Survey Engineering). In the prime role, Emergint is partnering with RTI International, a leading 'not for profit' research firm, to solidify and expand our service delivery capabilities at Census. "We recognize that the Census Bureau has an important role in establishing federal policy and regulations and this vehicle provides a broad spectrum of services toward accomplishing its mission. Emergint is pleased to be a part of this important initiative and looks forward to supporting Census in the application of engineering skills to all phases of related survey work", said Mr. Gil Delgado, President and CEO of Emergint. The Survey Engineering area focuses on the application of principles that will make the design and operation of surveys, machines, processes, and systems more efficient and economical. Emergint has been serving the U.S. Census Bureau since 2006.
