Emergint® receives Task Order to enhance FDA/CFSAN reporting system

(ROCKVILLE, MD) - On Sept 15, 2010, Emergint Technologies, Inc. received a Task Order award titled "CAERS Administrative Functions and Database Back-End Functionality", under its existing IDIQ, CAERS Operation and Maintenance contract, with FDA/CFSAN. CAERS tracks and monitors adverse events such as an illness or injury that may be associated with foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, food additives, and color additives. For over a year, Emergint has provided the CAERS project with a broad spectrum of technical and program management support and under this new award, Emergint will provide development, modernization, and enhancement services to further improve the CAERS application as related to its back-end functionality. "Our work with the CAERS application, its criticality in positioning our customer for best decision-making capability as it relates to consumer use of regulated products, is core to Emergint's mission and our service offering to the federal government.
