Emergint® awarded Environmental Protection Agency Multi-Award Information Management Center Services (IMCS) 3 Contract
(Washington, DC) - Emergint Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a prime contractor for the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) Information Management Center Services (IMCS) 3 contract. This contract focuses on five primary goals: managing collections of information, responding to requests for information, training and performing outreach services, developing virtual services to reach the public and Agency staff at their desktops, and providing professional services on a cost recovery basis.
Under this contract, Emergint will have the opportunity to provide an array of Records Management and Library services for EPA, nationwide. Emergint may support EPA by responding to requests for information; providing reference and environmental information research services; managing library and document collections, providing circulation, and inter-library loan services; performing outreach, awareness, and training services for EPA customers and the public; managing EPA's document and information management systems; documenting EPA procedures; performing records life cycle activities; and performing a range of document management and conversion functions.
