Emergint® wins NCIPC Web Support Services Task Order under the CDC CIMS Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Information Management Domain
(Atlanta, GA) - Emergint Technologies, Inc. has been awarded a task order to provide Web Support services to the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This task order was awarded under the CDC Information Management Services (CIMS) contract vehicle and has a period of performance of three years.
Under this task order, Emergint will maintain all 13 existing NCIPC websites, such as the main NCIPC website, http://www.cdc.gov/injury/index.html&highlight and the Youth Violence Prevention site, http://www.cdc.gov/ViolencePrevention/index.html&highlight, and will develop new websites at the request of NCIPC. We will manage the overall project, design and implement information architecture, and ensure accessibility for all of the sites and documentation created. Pertinent will be the enhancement of existing sites for increased outreach and the integration of social media while working with content management and stakeholders across the CDC communities. This will include integration with NCIPC's three Facebook pages, distribution of NCIPC injury prevention and awareness podcasts, Twitter feeds, and more.
CDC's NCIPC works to ensure all Americans can live their lives to the fullest by preventing injuries and violence before they occur, and by reducing their consequences.
