Emergint® wins CDC/OSELS/SEPDPO IT Services Task Order under the CDC CIMS ID/IQ Contract Information Management Domain
(Atlanta, GA) - Emergint Technologies, Inc. announced a Task Order award for providing services to the Scientific Education and Professional Development Program Office (SEPDPO), at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), under the CDC Information Management Services (CIMS) contract vehicle. Emergint will provide a broad spectrum of information management services that include programming and web development, application maintenance and migration support, to include database configuration and maintenance, security analysis and preparation, as well as business process analysis for new and in-process application development.
SEPDPO provides public health training and education, and manages innovative, evidence-based programs to prepare the health workforce to meet public health challenges of the 21st century. SEPDPO develops a diverse, educated workforce by providing CDC-sponsored internships and fellowships, directing programs that encourage students and health professionals to consider public health as a career, providing training in core public health sciences, conducting workforce-related research to ensure the use of best practices for professional development programs, and working with partners in academia, state and local health agencies, and professional organizations to address training and educational needs.
