Emergint® wins an EPA IMCS 3 Records Management Task Order in Region 5, Chicago, IL
(Rockville, Maryland) - Emergint Technologies, Inc. has been awarded a task order from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the EPA Information Management Center Services 3 (IMCS 3) contract vehicle. This task order supports the EPA's Region 5 and is based in Chicago, IL.
Emergint will provide records management services, records operations services, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) response support for this task order. EPA's Region 5 spans a diverse area of the Midwest, containing Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin and the lands of 35 tribes. Emergint will support records operations for the Great Lakes National Program Office (GLNPO), the Office of Regional Counsel, and the Water Division.
The EPA ensures that all Americans are protected from significant risks to human health and the environment where they live, learn, and work; that national efforts to reduce environmental risk are based on the best available scientific information; and that federal laws protecting human health and the environment are enforced fairly and effectively. These goals are accomplished by writing regulations in response to Congressional environmental laws, setting national standards that states and tribes enforce through their own regulations, and helping states, tribes, and companies understand the requirements of these regulations.
About Emergint
Emergint's mission is to be proficient in health research and environmental information management through broad reach (national in scale and scope), a prosperous work environment and high levels of achievement, where integrity is our culture.
