EMERGINT CELEBRATES HISTORY OF DELIVERING IT SOLUTIONS FOR THE AIR TRANSPORT INDUSTRY

Emergint's PMO has successfully managed IT systems supporting passenger processing at airports across North America.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): Emergint project managers delivered passenger processing systems, networks, Flight Information Display Systems and Gate Management Systems across five terminals. The Terminal Airline Support Systems project at the Tom Bradley International Terminal was called "the most successful project in our in our history" by the CIO of Los Angeles World Airports. The TBIT Biometric Boarding project implemented the latest technology in paper-less passenger processing at the gate, capturing passenger images and matching them with the U.S. State Department database and airline host systems to allow automated passenger boarding without a boarding pass.

State of Hawaii Airports: The Emergint Team has implemented multiple projects for airports across Hawaii, including Honolulu (HNL), Kona (KOA), Lihue (LIH) and Kahului (OGG). Nearly all of the projects required tight coordination with large construction projects within the terminals. Emergint project managers delivered passenger processing systems to over 200 gates, 500 check-in positions and 50 kiosks, as well as network and cabling systems supporting Flight Information Display Systems throughout the airports.

San Diego International Airport Terminal 2 West: Emergint project and program managers were asked to manage the delivery of all IT systems in SAN's new T2 West, coordinating every step with the new terminal's construction.
